About the Green Garden Program
The Green Garden Program is sponsored by West Basin Municipal Water District and is designed to provide residents with a FREE water survey and irrigation devices to develop a water-efficient landscape that not only looks beautiful, but also conserves water and reduces water run-off.
Through this program, qualifying residents can receive a FREE landscape survey, conducted by a professional landscape technician and also qualify to receive a FREE “smart” irrigation sprinkler controller and free rotating sprinkler nozzles, all of which help conserve water and minimize water runoff.
Exchange events are scheduled in different areas at specific times. Click here for participating cities and events.
Participation steps:
- Call our toll-free number (866) 861-0784 to schedule a FREE irrigation survey appointment.
- Allow one of our surveyors to perform the landscape irrigation survey at your home. You’ll receive recommendations for improving your landscape while saving water.
- After the survey you'll be given a date and location to exchange your old irrigation timer for a new smart irrigation timer.
- On the day of the irrigation timer exchange there will be an installation/programming workshop which will last approximately 1 hour.
- Install and program your new irrigation timer.
- After two weeks, we will schedule a follow up visit to check on the installation of your new irrigation timer.
Who qualifies?
